OHHA Election Update

Nomination forms for the 2011 OHHA Board of Directors election were mailed to the members in Districts 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in the middle of September with nominations due back on October 11, 2011.  Following are the results:

District 1         Two positions:  Incumbent Dan Mayo consented to stand for re-election and is acclaimed for two years.  No nominations received.

District 6         Two positions:  No nominations received.  Incumbent Geoff Maltby consented to stand for re-election and is acclaimed for two years.

District 7         Incumbent John Williamson declined to stand for re-election.  No election required due to current membership numbers.

District 8         One position:  Incumbent Paul Lindsey consented to stand for re-election and is acclaimed for two years.

District 9         Two positions:  Incumbents Dennis Jewitt declined and Ken Wiese consented to stand for re-election.  Nominations received for Lee Watson and Jim Watt.

District 10       Two positions:  Incumbents Peter Core and Ken Hardy consented to stand for re-election; both are acclaimed for two years.

District 11       One position:  Incumbent Donnie Rankin consented to stand for re-election and is acclaimed for two years.

On December 13th an election for the 2012 OHHA Board of Directors will be held for District 9, with ballots being mailed to the members in this district by November 8, 2011.
