Ontario Election Complete

On October 6, 2011, Ontario residents went to the polls to elect the next provincial government. The Ontario Liberal party led by Premier Dalton McGuinty achieved victory in 53 out of the 107 polls giving them a minority government. The Tim Hudak led Progressive Conservative party was victorious in 37 polls while the New Democratic Party, led by Andrea Horwath won in 17 polls.
